The Meaning of the Uvalde Strong Shirt
It’s been nearly two months since a mass shooting at Robb Elementary on May 24 that killed 21 people, including 19 children and two teachers. It is the deadliest school shooting in the United States since 2012.
The Houston Texans will wear a “Uvalde Strong” decal on their helmets to honor the victims of the Uvalde massacre at Robb Elementary School during the team’s first game of the NFL regular season on September 11.
The announcement is given after Texans head coach Lovie Smith and linebackers Kamu Grugier-Hill and Christian Kirksey surprised the Uvalde High School varsity football team ahead of their home opener on Friday.
Following last week’s Texas school shooting, two Uvalde natives living in Los Angeles designed the Uvalde Strong Shirt to help victims’ families.Â
Lari Alejandro and Krissy Estrada created the Uvalde Strong t-shirt fundraiser to help the Robb Elementary School Memorial Fund.

Shipping and expedited manufacturing ($14.95+) (U.S. Only)
- Orders using this option jump to the front of the manufacturing queue which can generally save a couple days (or more during busier times of the year).
- It's highly recommended to use this option if you are ordering for a specific event or holiday.
- Orders using this option generally arrive 2-3 days after being manufactured and shipped. (U.S. only)
