The tee depicts two baseball men holding their hands representing two teams: Oakland Athletics and San Francisco Giants. It also says, “Unite The Bay Stand With Us To Protest The A’s Move To Las Vegas. Let’s Keep Them Where They Belong. In Oakland. 25th July. Oracle Park. #SellTheTeam“. 

Throughout the game, chants of “Sell the team” could be heard echoing around the stadium as fans expressed their displeasure. A’s fans publicly called on Fisher to sell the once-storied baseball franchise, which they believe he has mismanaged. 

Many wore green sell T-shirts with the word “SELL” emblazoned across the front.

The A’s defeated the Tampa Bay Rays 2-1, extending their unexpected victory streak to seven games.

The Rays had the best record in baseball with a 48-22 record, but it didn’t stop the A’s from winning to improve to 19-50. 

Despite their joy at the victory, fans continued to express their feelings. As A’s pitcher Trevor May recorded the final out, A’s supporters threw trash onto the field to express their displeasure with Fisher.
