The battle between vaccinated and unvaccinated people
There is no doubt if we say that we are thriving ourselves to live with Covid-19 every day. Through time, we can witness all the ups and downs human beings have to suffer from this deadly disease. The serious impact of the pandemic and its consequences happens in every side of our life: public health, education, economy, social issues, etc.
To fight against COVID-19, we’ve tried and tried after deep studies and brought the effort to take this coronavirus under control. However, the question arises as to whether being vaccinated or unvaccinated?
Within America’s border, there’s more than a fight against Covid-19, it also has another fight between the vaccinated and unvaccinated which we should call two distinct battles. Right! Except for fighting against the coronavirus, it’s a fight against misinformation and hesitancy in getting vaccinations. It does make sense, it does matter to everyone. So should we get vaccinated or unvaccinated? Let’s take a deep look at the viewpoint of those who support vaccines and those who are anti-vaxxer.
In the viewpoint of vaccinated people
For those who’s pro-vaccine, pro-science, being fully vaccinated against Covid-19 is the first step to protect themselves and their family. Getting vaccinated themselves to help reduce the risk of coronavirus spreading and maximize protection from the Delta variant. All vaxxers believe that prevention is always better than cure, so it’s beneficial and economical to get a shot, and this may also lead to a healthier society, as well as decrease the burden of the disease.
When it comes to the pandemic, with the advent of vaccines, they advocate that vaccination can lead to community immunity. Therefore, the government makes an effort to create a lot of campaigns and strategies to encourage people to have a jab by public education on social media, and various incentives. “Roll up your sleeves” and get a shot. That’s a simple and effective slogan to promote the people to take action, get vaccinated, and save themselves, save the world.
In the viewpoint of unvaccinated people
As relativism said, there is no such thing is the truth or the mandatory, everything is relative, it should be right for this person but it should be wrong for that person. When it comes to getting vaccinated or not, those who don’t advocate vaccination totally have their choice to do that. Because “their body, their choice”. Every man has a different philosophy; the philosophy of anti vaccination suits them somehow. And nobody can force them to roll their sleeves and get a shot.
Medical experts made a statement that vaccines are an evolution in the 20th century and seen as an effective measure of public health. But there are a variety of reasons behind the vaccine opposition among parts of society.
Why are some people anti-vaccine?
The common answer should be known that there is little risk when getting vaccinated. Additionally, there are some beliefs that diseases were disappearing due to better sanitation and hygiene, not vaccination. Some may say that vaccines couldn’t protect themselves, those who get vaccinated still get sick as usual. Then, they think the risks (such as: autism and other medical risks) may outweigh the benefits.
Some don’t advocate science, or they’re still skeptical about the chemicals scientists invented and they decided not into vaccines. As a rule, when they don’t believe in science, they will mistrust doctors who recommend vaccines, and it’s likely that they’ll refuse vaccination all the time.
What Does “Trans Vaccinated” Actually Mean?
As discussed above, we have two conflicts between vaccinated and unvaccinated. That also referred to the new term “discrimination in vaccine”, the same as the “discrimination in gender”.
The hot trend slogan goes viral on the Internet recently about the funny definition of trans-vaccinated as follow: “Trans Vaccinated – I Am Not Actually Vaccinated, But I Identify As Someone Who Is Vaccinated”
Do you get it?
In the word “trans vaccinated”, the “trans” prefix here denotes a swap from the original version to a completely different version. We’ve heard about transgender but never have heard about trans-vaccinated before.
Throughout history, we’re all influenced and affected by gender. Gender norms tell us what are the right things that boys and girls should do. Along with gender discrimination, LGBTQ+ is one of the debated social justice issues. Those who are less, gay, or transgender are considered as a different part, different color in this world, just because they’re different from the other people, they’re living with their body, their choice, and their true color, true value. They’re fighting against all odds and living their own life.
We are talking about transgender- a term using to describe for people whose gender identity, gender expression, or behavior does not associate with the gender to which they were assigned at birth.
When we understand the deep root of trans-gender, the trans -”something”, we’ll see what the trans-vaccinated is?
Trans-vaccinated is referred to people who don’t advocate vaccination, anti vaccines, aren’t pro-Science, pro-vaccine. They aren’t pro-Science, pro-vaccine, identified as unvaccinated people and they’re cool with that.
The point worth mentioning here is the pun in the meaning of the new word “trans vaccinated” – this term is like a satire, ironic about vaccination, making people lose their “original”!
Those unvaccinated people have their own reasons for not pro-vaccination. They’re proudly calling themselves as “trans-vaccinated” which means they’re originally “vaccinated” since they were born. The vaccination is running in their blood when they say hello to this world. Thus, they no longer want to get a shot.
That’s a strong belief, strong statement of trans-vaccinated people and they’re challenging the “vaccinated people” that: never underestimate a “trans-vaccinated” because everyone has the rights to live their own lives and the rights to treat their bodies.
Choosing “unvaccinated” is the freedom to their path of life. Trans vaccinated person is a person who self-identifies as vaccinated!
