Terry Fox Run Finish It Hoodie Meaning
The t-shirt features the logo of Terry Fox Run and the phrase “Finish It”, “Even if I don’t finish, we need others to continue. It’s got to keep going without me”. It is inspired by the “Finish It” campaign by Terry Fox Run.
In 1980, Terry Fox, a Canadian athlete who had lost his right leg to osteogenic sarcoma (bone cancer), embarked on an ambitious cross-country run known as the Marathon of Hope. His goal was to raise awareness for cancer research by running across Canada, covering approximately a marathon’s distance each day.
After 143 days and 5,373 kilometers (3,339 miles), Terry was forced to stop when cancer spread to his lungs. He passed away on June 28, 1981, but his determination inspired a nation and led to the annual Terry Fox Run, which continues to raise funds for cancer research worldwide.
The phrase “Finish It” is featured in the 45th anniversary collection of the Terry Fox Foundation. This slogan symbolizes the collective commitment to continue Terry’s mission and ultimately achieve his dream of ending cancer.

Shipping and expedited manufacturing ($14.95+) (U.S. Only)
- Orders using this option jump to the front of the manufacturing queue which can generally save a couple days (or more during busier times of the year).
- It's highly recommended to use this option if you are ordering for a specific event or holiday.
- Orders using this option generally arrive 2-3 days after being manufactured and shipped. (U.S. only)
- Orders using expedited manufacturing will be printed when the next batch of orders are processed which can vary depending on seasonality and other factors.
