Taylor Hawkins – The Great Drummer Of Foo Fighters (1972 – 2022)
Taylor Hawkins was born in 1972, is an American drummer and musician. He played for the group Sass Jordan, Alanis Morissette and Sylvia first, then joined the rock band Foo Fighters in 1997. Hawkins was voted by British magazine Rhythm as the best rock drummer of 2005.
The New York Times reported on March 26, a representative of Foo Fighters confirmed that member Taylor Hawkins had passed away while touring with the band in South America. He took his last breath in a hotel room in northern Bogota, Colombia.
The Bogota Police Department stated that the cause of death has not been determined. However, the Daily Mail source quoted a person close to Hawkins’ death as possibly related to drugs.
Hawkins has been open about his past struggles with addiction. The male artist used to overdose on heroin, leading to a coma in 2001, 4 years after joining Foo Fighters.
