The name “Tage-Inator” is a parody of “Terminator,” turning Tage Thompson into a machine-like, unstoppable figure. Meanwhile, “T-7200” mimics the robot model numbers from the Terminator series (like T-800), but cleverly references “72,” which is associated with Thompson (his jersey number). The design—showing a half-human, half-cyborg face—reinforces this idea by visually transforming him into a futuristic killing machine.

The Terminator is a famous sci-fi action franchise that began with the 1984 film directed by James Cameron. The story centers on a future where artificial intelligence—called Skynet—becomes self-aware and wages war against humanity. To eliminate its enemies, Skynet sends cybernetic assassins called “Terminators” back in time.

The most iconic of these is the T-800, played by Arnold Schwarzenegger—a machine that looks human on the outside but is actually a metal skeleton underneath. Its mission in the first film is to hunt down Sarah Connor, the future mother of the human resistance leader.
