The t-shirt features an image of Salvador Guillermo Allende Gossens, the 28th president of Chile along with the explanation “Salvador Allende Chile”.
Salvador Allende Gossens was well known for being the first Marxist to become president through open elections in a Latin American country. His political career spanned nearly four decades, and he served as Chile’s president from November 3, 1970, until his tragic death on September 11, 1973.
Salvador Allende Gossens, the former President of Chile, died on September 11, 1973, during a military coup. According to Wikipedia, it was determined that Salvador Allende died by suicide. The autopsy pointed out that he had gunshot wounds to the head and the weapon had been set to automatic fire.
September 11, 2023 is the special date that marks 50 years after the passing of Salvador Allende. His supporters see him as a champion of social justice. Salvador Allende Chile is a thoughtful way to pay tribute to Salvador Allende, a significant political figure in Chile’s history.

- Manufacturing times for this option vary more around busier times of the year or during extreme circumstances such as covid-19 shutdowns.
- International & EU Orders*: It may take additional days if orders have to go through customs. We have no influence on the customs process and our apologies for any inconvenience due to delivery delays resulting from this.
Shipping and expedited manufacturing ($14.95+) (U.S. Only)
- Orders using this option jump to the front of the manufacturing queue which can generally save a couple days (or more during busier times of the year).
- It's highly recommended to use this option if you are ordering for a specific event or holiday.
- Orders using this option generally arrive 2-3 days after being manufactured and shipped. (U.S. only)
- Orders using expedited manufacturing will be printed when the next batch of orders are processed which can vary depending on seasonality and other factors.
