Roberto Clemente T Shirt Meaning
The t-shirt stands out with an image of Roberto Clemente. Roberto Clemente was a legendary Puerto Rican baseball player who starred for the Pittsburgh Pirates in Major League Baseball from 1955 – 1972. He was one of the most skilled and admired players of his era, known for both his on‑field excellence and off‑field character.
Clemente was a 15‑time All‑Star, 4‑time batting champion, and a World Series champion. He amassed exactly 3,000 career hits—a rare milestone in MLB. He was one of the earliest Latin American superstars in the U.S. major leagues and became an icon of pride for Latin and especially Puerto Rican fans.
Clemente died in 1972 at age 38 in a plane crash while delivering earthquake relief supplies to victims in Nicaragua, something he insisted on personally overseeing so the aid would reach those in need. - International & EU Orders*: It may take additional days if orders have to go through customs. We have no influence on the customs process and our apologies for any inconvenience due to delivery delays resulting from this.
Shipping and expedited manufacturing ($14.95+) (U.S. Only)
- Orders using this option jump to the front of the manufacturing queue which can generally save a couple days (or more during busier times of the year).
- It's highly recommended to use this option if you are ordering for a specific event or holiday.
- Orders using this option generally arrive 2-3 days after being manufactured and shipped. (U.S. only)
- Orders using expedited manufacturing will be printed when the next batch of orders are processed which can vary depending on seasonality and other factors.
