Born Dec 4, 1996, Jota rose through Portuguese clubs before starring at Wolverhampton and then joining Liverpool in 2020. He was known for his dynamic play—pace, finishing, tactical versatility—and won major trophies including the Premier League, FA Cup, and Nations League.

In the early hours of July 3, 2025, the brothers died in a car crash in Zamora, Spain, when a Lamborghini they were traveling in veered off due to a tire blowout, caught fire, and exploded. Jota was just 28 and André 25. Their sudden deaths shocked the world of football. Just weeks before his death, Jota married Rute Cardoso (June 22, 2025)
