The Nico Paz Jesús De Miguel T Shirt is a football tribute shirt commemorating Spanish footballer Jesús de Miguel, following his tragic death on November 3, 2026. It is connected to an emotional moment involving Argentine midfielder Nico Paz during a UEFA Champions League match.
Nico Paz Jesús De Miguel T Shirt Meaning
On November 4, 2026, Nico Paz scored for Como 1907 against RC Lens in the Champions League. During his celebration, he held up a special T-shirt featuring a photograph of Jesús de Miguel alongside the Spanish message “Descansa en paz”, meaning “Rest in peace.”
This was a heartfelt tribute to De Miguel, a 30-year-old forward who played for CD Tenerife and died after suffering a cardiac arrest following an on-field collision with the goalkeeper of FC Andorra during a Spanish second-division match on November 2. His death deeply affected the football community, prompting tributes from clubs and players across Europe.
The gesture was particularly meaningful because Nico Paz has a strong personal connection to Tenerife. He was born in Santa Cruz de Tenerife and spent part of his youth developing his football career there. His father, Pablo Paz, also played for CD Tenerife. Therefore, Jesús de Miguel’s passing had a special significance for Paz and his connection to the local football community.
This Nico Paz Jesús De Miguel T Shirt represents a heartfelt tribute to Jesús de Miguel and a moment of solidarity within the football community. It commemorates Nico Paz’s emotional gesture during the Como vs. Lens Champions League match, using the message “Rest in Peace” to honor a footballer whose life was tragically cut short.
