The Chicago Cubs have a long tradition of flying a “W” flag (for wins) and an “L” flag (for losses) at Wrigley Field. The “W” flag is a symbol of victory for Cubs fans; correspondingly, the “L” is used to mark a loss.

The Brewers finished a series victory over the Chicago Cubs on Saturday night, winning the NLDS and moving on to the NLCS for the first time since 2018.

After the Milwaukee Brewers defeated the Cubs in the 2025 NLDS, the Brewers players brought out a Cubs’ “L” flag as a form of trolling of their rival’s loss. They held the “L” flag during team photos and celebrations, referencing the Cubs’ own tradition but twisting it as a jab.

Shipping and expedited manufacturing ($14.95+) (U.S. Only)

  • Orders using this option jump to the front of the manufacturing queue which can generally save a couple days (or more during busier times of the year).
  • It's highly recommended to use this option if you are ordering for a specific event or holiday.
  • Orders using this option generally arrive 2-3 days after being manufactured and shipped. (U.S. only)
