Yes. Trump wanted to make America great again, Joe Biden made the Taliban great again!

Who is the Taliban? 

For those of you who don’t know the origin of the Taliban, The Taliban, or Taleban, or “students” in Pashtun, emerged in the early 1990s in northern Pakistan, after Soviet troops withdrew from Afghanistan.

The movement, which is mainly composed of Pashtuns, is believed to have emerged first from religious seminaries – largely funded with money from Saudi Arabia – which preaches hardline Sunni Islam.

The Taliban’s promise in the Pashtun region, which lies between Pakistan and Afghanistan, is to restore peace and security once in power and enforce their own Sharia, or austere Islamic law.

From southwestern Afghanistan, the Taliban rapidly expanded their influence.

In September 1995, they captured Herat province, bordering Iran, and exactly a year later they captured the Afghan capital Kabul, overthrowing the government of President Burhanuddin Rabbani – one of the founders of the Afghan mujahideen movement against the Soviet occupation. By 1998, the Taliban took control of nearly 90% of Afghanistan.

The people of Afghanistan, tired of the extremism of the mujahideen movement and the civil war after the Soviets were driven away, welcomed the Taliban when it first emerged.

The initial popularity of the Taliban was mainly due to its success in stamping out corruption, curbing lawless chaos, making the roads and areas under their control safer and commerce better.

But the Taliban also adopt or support punishments according to their very draconian interpretation of Sharia law – such as the public execution of those convicted of murder or adultery, and cutting off the limbs of people convicted of theft. Men were forced to wear beards and women had to wear a burka that covered them from head to toe.

The Taliban also banned television, music, and movies, and did not allow girls 10 and older to attend school.

The Taliban are accused of violating a range of cultural and human rights. A famous example was in 2001 when the Taliban destroyed the famous Bamiyan Buddha in central Afghanistan, despite international outrage.

Inspired by Donald Trump’s famous slogan: “Make America Great Again,” and now we’re using the phrase: “Making The Taliban Great Again” to mock Joe Biden as he defends the decision to withdraw US troops from Afghanistan. 

“Make America Great Again” or MAGA is a campaign slogan of the US Presidential campaign, it is used quite commonly in American politics. This slogan has its origins in the presidential campaign of former President Ronald Reagan in 1980. Donald Trump applied this slogan to his presidential campaign and was sworn in as President on January 20, 2017.

But why Say “Making The Taliban Great Again”? Here is the specific situation:

The attacks that occurred near the entrance to Kabul airport on Thursday, August 26 left 90 Afghan civilians and 13 US soldiers dead and 150 others injured. First American soldier deaths since February 2020.

Joe Biden thinks this is Trump’s fault because Trump negotiated with terrorists and set a deadline to tie his hands. While that may be true, it’s not Donald Trump who turned the Taliban into an incredibly well-equipped fighting machine.

Joe Biden’s indiscriminate withdrawal and surrender to the Taliban has brought enormous consequences to the credibility of America with the faith of its allies, besides many people died unjustly, some were brutally executed by the Taliban to take revenge. Taliban have come back and won $85 billion worth of sophisticated weapons, 75000 vehicles, 200 airplanes, and helicopters.

The Taliban now have more hawkish helicopters than 85% of the world’s countries. They have armor, medical supplies, night vision goggles, and even biometric devices with fingerprints and eye scans of Afghans who have helped the US military over the past 20 years. So Biden armed them and then delivered the target to them on a silver platter.

With the Taliban preparing to form their own government in Afghanistan, just before the 20th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks in the US, American public opinion turned against incumbent President Joe Biden. Veterans have questioned the government’s clumsy retreat that has endangered the lives of thousands and brought the Taliban, a terrorist, to power in Kabul. And just like Joe Biden Made the Taliban Great Again, not America. 

When the last plane in terror took off, millions of innocent civilians were left behind and the streets were painted with the blood of US and UK troops who died for no reason. Let this be a lesson for all of us.

Trying to bring liberal democracy to Western countries like Afghanistan doesn’t work. The question is whether people want it or not!

Overall, what happened in Afghanistan in the eyes of the world cost the United States its life, money, reputation, and standing on the world stage. It’s not a price worth paying. Never again!

Despite receiving a lot of criticism from the terrorist attacks in Afghanistan, Biden received support from Vice President Kamala Harris for being steadfast in his decision to withdraw troops from Afghanistan.

It turned out that his assessment was completely skewed, and he himself was lagging behind the speed with which the Taliban seized power in Kabul. Biden later admitted that Afghan forces collapsed much earlier than expected.

So now Biden, Harris, and his administration are under a wave of citizen criticism as well as squarely political leaders and army.
