The LJ McCray Horns Down T Shirt celebrates Florida Gators defensive lineman LJ McCray and his role in Florida’s upset victory over the Texas Longhorns on October 17, 2026.

LJ McCray Horns Down T Shirt Meaning

LJ McCray

The shirt references the “Horns Down” hand gesture, in which LJ McCray turns the fingers of the familiar Texas “Hook ’em Horns” sign upside down to mock or taunt the Longhorns. It is a popular gesture among rival college football fans, including supporters of Florida.

The design has particular relevance because McCray delivered a standout performance in Florida’s 27–24 win over No. 7 Texas. On October 19, 2026, he was named SEC Defensive Lineman of the Week after recording a career-high 1.5 sacks and 2.5 tackles for loss in the game. His defensive plays helped disrupt Texas’s offense during Florida’s comeback victory.

Overall, the LJ McCray Horns Down T Shirt combines Florida Gators pride, rivalry banter, and celebration of McCray’s breakthrough performance. “Horns Down” is a playful way of saying that Texas has been beaten or that its rivals are celebrating against it. The shirt is especially appealing to Florida fans who want to commemorate the win and tease Texas supporters.
