Story Behind “Lady Ruby Shirt”
Shaye Moss and Ruby Freeman are the mother and daughter from Fulton County who were subjected to a dizzying harassment campaign by President Donald Trump and his friends in the aftermath of the 2020 election testified to the Senate Judiciary Committee on Tuesday about the campaign’s life-altering consequences.
On Election Night 2020, Freeman was a volunteer at State Farm Arena, a disastrous occurrence that thrust them into the sights of the world’s most powerful man as he fought to reverse Georgia’s election results and retain power.
Due to a misunderstanding about whether counting was done for the night, the two were among a small group of people that stayed late at State Farm Arena counting ballots into the early morning after most workers, observers, and media members had left.
State and local officials pressed for counting to resume after it had stopped, and surveillance video of the events at State Farm Arena was seized on by Trump and conspiracists pushing the fraud narrative. Last year, Reuters published a lengthy piece detailing the president’s harassment campaign against Moss and Freeman.
Freeman, in the taped testimony, explained how she proudly used to wear a shirt with the moniker she was known around town by – “Lady Ruby“. She stated she would never wear that shirt again once she and her daughter became the target of Trump’s attacks. Freeman can no longer use the name she has been recognized by her entire life and on which she has built a business!

Shipping and expedited manufacturing ($14.95+) (U.S. Only)
- Orders using this option jump to the front of the manufacturing queue which can generally save a couple days (or more during busier times of the year).
- It's highly recommended to use this option if you are ordering for a specific event or holiday.
- Orders using this option generally arrive 2-3 days after being manufactured and shipped. (U.S. only)
- Orders using expedited manufacturing will be printed when the next batch of orders are processed which can vary depending on seasonality and other factors.
