The song became one of the band’s biggest hits and appeared on their 1986 album London 0 Hull 4. Even though the song sounds upbeat and catchy, its real meaning is actually satirical. The lyrics criticize fake workplace “fun,” office drinking culture, shallow social scenes, sexism, and corporate conformity.
The famous line “It’s happy hour again…” is ironic — the singer is basically saying he doesn’t actually enjoy being there. The song mocks forced socializing and “night out with the boss” culture in 1980s Britain.

Shipping and expedited manufacturing ($14.95+) (U.S. Only)
- Orders using this option jump to the front of the manufacturing queue which can generally save a couple days (or more during busier times of the year).
- It's highly recommended to use this option if you are ordering for a specific event or holiday.
