If Trump Is Gone Before I Wake I Pray To God The News Ain’t Fake T Shirt expresses the hope that Donald Trump will no longer be in power or remain a major political presence.

If Trump Is Gone Before I Wake I Pray to God the News Ain’t Fake T Shirt Meaning

Donald Trump
Donald Trump

The slogan “If Trump is gone before I wake, I pray to God the news ain’t fake” conveys a satirical political message, reflecting the fervent desire of Donald Trump’s opponents to see him leave the political stage or relinquish power, while praying that such news is genuine rather than a hoax or fake news.

This phrase is adapted from the classic Christian bedtime prayer for children: “Now I lay me down to sleep, I pray the Lord my soul to keep. If I should die before I wake, I pray the Lord my soul to take.”

It also plays on the phrase “fake news,” which has frequently appeared in political discussions involving Trump and the media. Thus, the If Trump Is Gone Before I Wake I Pray To God The News Ain’t Fake T Shirt conveys an anti-Trump political sentiment through rhyme, sarcasm, and dark humor.
