The slogan on the shirt became a recognizable part of the team’s identity during the 2025 NFL season, when videos of Johnson leading his players in the chant spread widely online.
The full chant goes: “Good, better, best! Never let it rest! Till your good gets better, and your better gets best!” Its message is simple: never stop improving. Rather than settling for being good, players should keep working to become better and strive to reach their full potential. Johnson uses the phrase to encourage his team to maintain high standards, work together, and celebrate victories with a shared sense of purpose.
Interestingly, the slogan predates Johnson’s NFL career. He learned it through his high school football experience at A.C. Reynolds High School in Asheville, North Carolina, where the chant was used as a team rallying cry. Johnson later brought that tradition to Chicago, turning a personal memory into a signature ritual for the Bears.

- International & EU Orders*: It may take additional days if orders have to go through customs. We have no influence on the customs process and our apologies for any inconvenience due to delivery delays resulting from this.
Shipping and expedited manufacturing ($14.95+) (U.S. Only)
- Orders using this option jump to the front of the manufacturing queue which can generally save a couple days (or more during busier times of the year).
- It's highly recommended to use this option if you are ordering for a specific event or holiday.
- Orders using this option generally arrive 2-3 days after being manufactured and shipped. (U.S. only)
- Orders using expedited manufacturing will be printed when the next batch of orders are processed which can vary depending on seasonality and other factors.
