The fan was spotted at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville wearing a crimson t-shirt that said “GOATS” on the front, with the Alabama “A” prominently displayed on the front and center.
That wasn’t the part that drew everyone’s attention. The word “Killing our way through the SEC in’ 23” on the back was the center of attention.
The shirts appear to imply Harris’s death, who was killed in a January shooting near the University of Alabama campus.
After former player Darius Miles allegedly shot and killed Jamea Jonae Harris, the Alabama men’s basketball team has been at the center of controversy.
According to the Associated Press, both men were indicted on capital murder charges by a grand jury on Friday.
Brandon Miller has drawn attention to the case after authorities claim he provided the gun to Miles on the night of the shooting. He has not been charged with a crime and has continued to play for the Crimson Tide, which Harris’ family has questioned.
