Bryce Harper Not Elite Sweatshirt Meaning
In a TikTok video, Bryce Harper was seen taking batting practice while wearing a shirt that said “Not Elite” on the front.
The shirt appears to be a direct reference to comments made earlier in the offseason by Phillies president of baseball operations Dave Dombrowski. In an October news conference after the Phillies’ playoff loss, Dombrowski described Harper as a very good and All‑Star‑caliber player but said he didn’t have “an elite season like he has had in the past” and questioned whether he could return to that elite level.
It’s widely interpreted as a pointed response to those comments — signaling that Harper hasn’t forgotten them and might even be using them as motivation heading into the 2026 season. Some see it as Harper embracing the criticism, turning a negative label into fuel to prove doubters wrong.

Shipping and expedited manufacturing ($14.95+) (U.S. Only)
- Orders using this option jump to the front of the manufacturing queue which can generally save a couple days (or more during busier times of the year).
- It's highly recommended to use this option if you are ordering for a specific event or holiday.
- Orders using this option generally arrive 2-3 days after being manufactured and shipped. (U.S. only)
- Orders using expedited manufacturing will be printed when the next batch of orders are processed which can vary depending on seasonality and other factors.
