The U.S. Supreme Court on June 24, 2022 overturned a landmark 1973 Roe v. Wade ruling that recognized women’s constitutional right to abortion and legalized it nationally. A draft ruling showing the US Supreme Court’s ability to overturn a Roe v. Wade ruling was leaked in May 2022, sparking a political storm.
After the leak, thousands of people protested for abortion rights in Washington D.C and many other cities. Some of them protested at the homes of several conservative judges.
Then CM Punk appeared wearing a pro-choice shirt with shirt that reads “Abortion Rights Are Human Rights” when he walked out to do commentary during the match between Hangman Adam Page and Konosuke Takeshita.
