On this day, 19 Al Qaeda terrorists hijacked four commercial planes of two airlines United Airlines and American Airlines. Two Boeing 767s crashed into the twin towers of the World Trade Center (WTC) complex in New York City, causing the collapse of all 7 towers in the area.
In the capital city of Washington D.C., an American Airlines Boeing 757 crashed into the western side of the Pentagon, causing a devastating fire. The incident resulted in the tragic loss of all 64 people on board the aircraft, including 5 terrorists, and claimed the lives of 125 individuals on the ground.
The government engraved the names of the victims at the WTC memorial site. Memorials were also erected at the Pentagon and where Flight 93 crashed. Every year, on September 11th, many people come to the memorial areas to lay flowers and stand silently, remembering the deceased.

Shipping and expedited manufacturing ($14.95+) (U.S. Only)
- Orders using this option jump to the front of the manufacturing queue which can generally save a couple days (or more during busier times of the year).

- Orders using this option generally arrive 2-3 days after being manufactured and shipped. (U.S. only)
