Before, we had the Grinch who stole Christmas, and now, we have the Biden who stole Christmas. Why did we say the Biden who stole Christmas?
The Biden who stole Christmas
Supply chains, like many things in the US, are currently broken. Earlier today, press secretary Jen Psaki was asked if the White House could ensure people’s holiday packages would arrive on time. Psaki said they couldn’t.
“We can’t overpromise here, and I’m not going to do that from here because there are a lot of issues in the global supply chain,” Psaki said. “We are not the Postal Service or UPS or FedEx. We cannot guarantee.”
“What we can do is use every lever at the federal government’s disposal to reduce delays, to ensure that we are addressing bottlenecks in the system, including ports and the need for them to be open longer hours so that goods can arrive,” she added.
Fox News published a video, named “Ingraham: The Biden who stole Christmas … and everything else”
‘Unlike the cartoon, Biden won’t see the folly of his ways or have a change of heart in the end,’ the ‘Ingraham Angle’ host said.
Stinchfield’s first host, Grant Stinchfield, blasted The Biden Grinch in front of the White House with Jen Psaki’s head on his dog, Max. The caption read, “The White House stole Christmas.”
A few hours later on The Ingraham Angle, Laura Ingraham appeared with a photo of “The Biden Who Stole Christmas.”
Why say the Biden who stole on Christmas?
Over the past year, supply chain disruptions have become a top concern for nearly all Americans and have had a broad impact on daily life.
There is a quiet panic going on in the US economy. Medical labs are running out of supplies, summer camps, and restaurants are having a hard time getting food, and auto, paint, and electronics companies are cutting production because of not getting semiconductors.
However, the problem seems to be getting worse, as shortages pile up. For example, the inability to repair a truck means that the truck driver can’t transport boxes of goods, which can actually contain the parts needed to repair the truck or people’s holiday packages, and more.
The global supply chain bottlenecks- such as lack of chips and lead to lack of new cars in the market, now threaten the Christmas shopping season, Americans are likely to welcome Christmas without their holiday shopping packages.
Shortages and delays in global supply chains have resulted in shortages of deliveries – both raw materials and finished products to customers – and have also increased prices on many goods, according to The Associated Press.
There is much debate as to why the problem is so bad. Most people agree that the Covid pandemic and turbulent changes in consumption habits have led to price spikes and shortages. Some people believe that government spending and money printing at the Fed make matters worse.
The supply chain shortages are part of a wider problem of raging inflation that accelerated as the economy began to reopen after the coronavirus pandemic deepened and Americans started spending more.
According to data released on Wednesday, consumer prices rose 0.4 percent in September compared to the previous month and 5.4 percent from the previous month, mainly due to rising costs of energy, food, and accommodation.
Biden’s policies are also believed to contribute greatly to inflation for months.
The top Republican on the Senate Commerce Committee, tweeted Wednesday, “In President Biden’s economy, Americans pay more for less.” “Rising prices for products like cars, gas, and even Christmas gifts are making it harder to make ends meet. Yet the President and Democrats are forging ahead with reckless spending and plans to raise taxes.”
Furman stated there is “some merit” to the argument that Biden’s $1.9 trillion coronavirus relief law from March had a contribution to inflation.
#TheBidenwhostoleChristmas has flooded on Twitter. The supply chain disruption has left people feeling angry and frustrated. Those who believe that the president ruins their holidays share their thoughts on Twitter. And the hashtags #TheBidenwhostoleChristmas are a way of protests.
