Winterfest is a baton‑twirling competition held annually in Opelika, Alabama, at Opelika High School. The event includes a wide variety of categories: solo twirling, multiple‑baton, strut, show twirl, rhythmic, group/teams, pageant‑style modeling/twirling events, and more.

Winterfest uses a “set system”: participants get a program book that tells them which event, which “set,” and which “lane” they’ll perform in. There are both individual and group events, and the competition organizes participants by age and skill levels.

The 2026 Winterfest Twirling Championships date is set for January 31, 2026. Location remains Opelika High School, 1700 Lafayette Pkwy, Opelika, AL 36801, USA.

Shipping and expedited manufacturing ($14.95+) (U.S. Only)

  • Orders using this option jump to the front of the manufacturing queue which can generally save a couple days (or more during busier times of the year).
  • It's highly recommended to use this option if you are ordering for a specific event or holiday.
  • Orders using this option generally arrive 2-3 days after being manufactured and shipped. (U.S. only)
  • Orders using expedited manufacturing will be printed when the next batch of orders are processed which can vary depending on seasonality and other factors.
