In their practice, many Georgia Southern Eagles men’s basketball players wore the Remember the 10 shirts to honor those who died in the Oklahoma State Cowboys basketball team plane crash.
The OSU Cowboys plane crash occurred on January 27, 2001, at 19:37 EST, near Strasburg, in the U.S. state of Colorado. All 10 people, including two crew members and eight passengers involved with Oklahoma State basketball, died in the crash. The meaningful Remember The 10 Shirt is a way to remember the victims of that tragedy.
